meal planning: week 2

Hey guys! Sorry for the late post this week, the flu and cold season has definitely begun and it started to try and take me down. As I mentioned on Instagram, we will only be doing three meals this week but feel free to email or comment below if you would like more ideas.

Nachos

Simple and delicious. Nachos are another way to get rid of a few things that may be nearing the end of their expiration date in your fridge.For example, Ben and I had bought refried beans for the taco pizza we made last week so we threw the rest of them on to make sure they got used even if it wasn’t a “normal” topping I would choose for my nachos.

 

Fettuccine Carbonara with Green Beans

Molly Yeh, another blogger that needs to be added to your list. She mainly bakes but when she throws a savory recipe on her blog I always make sure to check it out.

 

Southwest Chicken Soup

Because soup will probably a weekly occurrence over here. Let me know if any of you tried the Lemon Chicken Soup from week 1! Laney from life is but a dish is seriously the best!
